World leader in specialised loadbank manufacturing and testing solutions, Crestchic is continuing to build on its staff investment through the appointment of new Test Engineer, Ryan Kavanagh, supporting the manufacturer’s technological development of products.
Based at Crestchic’s headquarters in Burton-Upon-Trent, Ryan is part of the testing team, ensuring the quality and functionality of Crestchic’s loadbanks and packaged transformers. Reporting to the Head of Test Department, Ben Woodward, Ryan will gain vital product knowledge to enhance the company’s engineering capability.
Upon completing his engineering degree at Staffordshire University in 2012, Ryan gained experience working for Alstom as a design engineer. Bringing a background in high voltage (HV) electrical engineering to his new role, Ryan will be supporting Crestchic’s strategy to drive new technology into its product offering, while strengthening the technical expertise that the team delivers.
As part of the role, Ryan will be developing his theoretical knowledge as Crestchic continues to enhance and develop its products. Ben Woodward, Head of Test Department, said: “Ryan’s appointment highlights Crestchic’s commitment in working the latest developments and technologies into its products.
“Ryan is enthusiastic and has shown a willingness to learn as well as using his existing knowledge to benefit the existing the team. I am sure that he will be a valuable asset to Crestchic as we look to achieve our strategic objectives.”
